Mollzometer Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 1, 2026

Mollzometer is designed to show weather for the hours that matter to you. This policy explains what data the app uses and how that data is handled.

Data the app uses

  • Your current location, if you allow location access, to load local weather.
  • Your schedule preferences, such as wake time, commute windows, and weekday active windows.
  • Your app settings, such as weather meter preferences, appearance, and Special Bulletin preferences.
  • Optional premium purchase state used to unlock paid features.

How data is used

  • To fetch and display weather relevant to your actual active hours.
  • To generate outfit suggestions, weather summaries, optional meters, and notifications.
  • To keep widgets and app views in sync with your latest forecast and settings.

Data sharing

Mollzometer uses weather providers to retrieve forecast data for your location. Aside from the requests required to fetch weather and any platform services used for purchases or notifications, the app is not designed as a social network or ad-tech product.

Data storage

Your preferences are stored locally on your device. Optional weather-source credentials, if you add them, are stored in the device Keychain. Shared widget data may be stored in app-group storage so the app and widgets can stay in sync.

Your choices

  • You can deny or revoke location permission in iOS Settings.
  • You can disable notifications in iOS Settings or inside the app where applicable.
  • You can turn Special Bulletins, UV meters, and rain meters on or off in Settings.
